Book Storage Bench

Build a small book storage bench for your little one. :)

Build a scrap plywood and 2x2 bookshelf bench

Using scrap 3/4" plywood and 2x2s, and free painted quarter round trim from Re-Use Hawai'i, it cost me $0 in new purchases to make this cubby for my daughter’s closet.

    1. =D I purchased those bins almost 4 years ago, when I found out we were expecting. :) We didn't know if our little one would be a boy or girl until later than usual, around 28 weeks, I think? Thankfully, they fold, so we were able to pack it in our luggage and bring it home to Hawai'i. :)

    1. Thank you, Michele! The scrap bench was a product of a few days, but the blog page design has taken me much longer to put together, even though it's still very simple! :)

    1. Thank you so much for your comment, John! :) We're on an ultra tight budget, so scrap and reclaimed wood is my favorite building material! =D

  6. You are so good to build from scratch. I'm sure it's cheaper than buying plus you get exactly what you want. I need to make the time sometimes to do projects like these. It looks great!
